Our Other Gaited Horses (Also see the ''MARES'' Page)
[SOLD] --- This is Whisk Me Away (''Whisky''), an unregistered Walking Horse gelding born May 12, 2013. (Sired by Kentucky Hummer out of Katrina) Whisky is still growing, is widening out, and we think he will be a solid 15.2 hands. He has a very stout build, short back, athletic movement and very natural, smooth gait. Bred by Eldon Eadie, who has written many articles on gaited horses. The horse was owned after weaning to by people who did not register him, but we can provide the application and signatures. Oscar did ground work with him in fall of 2015, and he is now under saddle and nicely started. Smooth and athletic, and smooth. He is FOR SALE and the price is reasonable because we need to reduce our workload.
Personal Horses - Not For Sale
This is Phoenix, a registered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding who is Dale's main trail mount. Born in 2010, he was brought from the USA to be a breeding stallion but the farm's owners had to downsize after only two foal crops, and gelded the horse in 2014 so he could be a good companion. He had a good base of saddle training at 3, and after we bought him in 2015, Oscar put 5 more months of training on him for finishing. He went to the mountains with us 6 times in 2015, 2 - 5 days each trip. He proved to be level headed, and is starting to get seasoned to trail work.
